Wizefloor

Wizefloor

The interactive floor for education, games and more

Website

The WizeFloor is an award-winning interactive floor for education. It is designed to promote collective and differentiated learning styles and needs through play and physical activity.

The system excels with its simple setup. While a projector displays its visual content on any flat surface, a camera tracks the players’ movements, allowing them to interact with the projected image. The WizeFloor offers an abundance of apps and games – always intertwining education, fun and physical movement – from chasing balloons, to solving puzzles, to football tournaments. These apps can be easily customized through a simple web-based content management system.

WizeFloor is being widely used in schools, nurseries or eldercare across Denmark. The project has received the Red Dot Design Award as “Best of the Best in Education” and has been nominated for the Bett Award in 2016 in the category “ICT Tools for Learning, Teaching and Assessment – non web-based”.
