Production
Invincible is a huge and growing franchise. As our team already featured several Invincible fans, we were especially excited to establish a partnership with gamebook and Skybound Games to work on the pre-production of Atom Eve. With the creative lead of Jill Murray and Rossi Gifford we were able to create a stunning prototype in a short time. In order to achieve this, we worked in close cooperation with the game designer André Preller to transfer game ideas to game design to working gameplay systems. The core challenge was the creation of a flexible system for the game’s RPG elements and combat encounters that allowed tests and tweaks in a very early production stage. The list of our tasks involved:
- Consulting of the game design team from a technical perspective
- Translation of game design to gameplay systems
- Development of prototypes
- Development of the vertical slice
- Evaluation and planning of the development
