Zeppelin Studio is hiring!

Join us aboard the Zeppelin, become part of our small game-dev team, and help us grow!

Unreal Developer – Intermediate to Senior Level (div/f/m)

This position has been filled.

Do you feel at home with the Unreal Editor open before you, ready for you to dive into Blueprints or some C++ code? Then we need you to be our Unreal generalist! We will need your support on a wide range of different projects, from VR simulations to multiplayer games. Presently we are creating a console port for an ongoing AA adventure game production, which would be your first assignment.

The position is a full-time employment with 38.5-hour work weeks, a minimum gross salary of 44,660 EUR per year, and yearly 20 days of paid vacation according to the Austrian IT collective agreement. While remote collaborations are a daily part of our work, we value regular personal contact and are looking for a new team member who lives in, or is willing to move to, the metropolitan area of Vienna. Even though we prefer a full-time employee, we are open to discussions about reduced working hours.

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a friendly and well-equipped work environment and ensure that all team members have access to the tech they need – be it in the office or at home. We are a young, lively and fun-loving team; we enjoy working hard and yet we highly value a good work-life balance, so we do what we can to avoid crunch times (so far quite successfully!). We also believe in the importance of personal growth and regularly offer opportunities for individual development, further education, and game jams.

Most of our projects are co-developments for our long-term partners, where we either fully or partially take over the programming aspects of their game projects. Nevertheless, we also strive to develop our own games and IPs, to which all interested team members can contribute.

Join us aboard the Zeppelin, become part of our small game-dev team, and help us grow!

What the current crew says*

*100% hand-picked by the biased management

I feel highly respected and enjoy the variety of my daily work – which enables me to continuously improve my skills, learn new things and get in touch with highly skilled colleagues and project partners.

Got a PC that is twice as good as the build server from my previous company. Can’t complain.

It’s the perfect mix of almost freelancer-style project choices and the stability of a gently growing company.

I was tricked into being employed here, they do not actually own a Zeppelin. At least it’s a Studio – 3/5 would start again here.

Management does everything in their power, be it hardware-wise or removing project roadblocks, to make sure I can focus on my work. I really like that.

As I can schedule my working hours almost freely, I have a lot of time with my family.
